Basset Hound - Joey - Medium - Adult - Male - Dog
I am 8 years old. I am a little more mature tri-color family basset. I get along with children and for the most part other hounds. I weigh 65 pounds but my foster Mom says it shows well. I am not fat, I am big-boned. I know how to use the doggie door and would love a big fenced backyard to explore. I can explore for hours!! I am usually very quiet but if another hound would like to start duet I'm game!!! Sometimes I may be a little insecure and will nudge you or lay in your lap.. hey we all need some special attention once in a while. I am really fond of the sofa, a basset needs his comforts especially after those walks which leave me just a little stiff and sore. I am usually very obedient unless you insist I get off the furniture but maybe I'm not stubborn I just don't hear at times as well as others. Where out there is my forever home?? The one with the big back yard, the plumb sofa and lots of love??? I'm waiting.
